AI for data analysis

Use AI tools to turn raw data into clear, actionable insights

Online or in person, dates to suit your schedule

Hands-on training for your team to apply practical guidance and tools

Up to 90 participants

AI can dramatically speed up analysis, but without a clear process it can produce inaccurate results or miss important patterns

This practical workshop shows you how to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini for both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The workshop goes through the process from structuring and cleaning datasets to running thematic analysis and producing credible reports. You will also learn how to spot and avoid common AI errors to keep your analysis reliable and with a transparent audit trail. The workshop will also equip you to develop academic grade, publishable results from your data. This workshop is designed by research methods expert Prof. Eric A. Jensen, author of Doing Real Research: A Practical Guide to Social Research (SAGE) and Doing Research in the Real World, 6th Ed. (SAGE).
